DAY 01 : ARRIVE AT COCHIN

Arrival Cochin Airport/ Railway station, pick up and transfer to hotel. Afternoon sight seeing of Cochin, visit Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue. Evening free for shopping, optional Sunset Cruise / Kathakali Show.

Cochin : Once a much prized pawn between the Portuguese, Dutch and English, Kochi or Cochin in the Southern Indian state of Kerala has a history of being a premier port along the fabled "spice route" to the east. Fort Cochin was a great emporium of trade, a harbor filled with ships, streets crowded with merchants and warehouses stored with goods from every port of Asia and Europe. Beginning with the Chinese and Arabs in the 13th century, the Portuguese arrived in 1500 A.D. followed by the domination of the Dutch and British. A large number of trading communities exist with 14 different languages spoken at a time

DAY 02 : COCHIN - KUMARAKOM

After breakfast drive to Kumarakom for check in to the House Boat for an overnight cruise.

House Boat - Explore Kerala's famous backwaters by sailing along palm fringed canals and lakes, passing little creeks where tiny settlements of thatched houses nestle below palm trees on diminutive patches of land. The waterways are seething with dragon shaped dugouts with graceful sails and covered boats transporting copra and cashew nuts from local villages to the ports.En route, visit villages and experience the traditional life of the inhabitants of the backwaters.

DAY 03 : KUMARAKOM - ALLEPPEY

Morning disembark at Alleppey Hotel/ Rest of the day free for leisure.

Alleppey : Experience the un-paralleled magic of the narrow, shaded streets & vibrant color of Alleppey. This fairly pleasant market town is built on canals and is surrounded by coconut trees. The Arabian Sea on its west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and several freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alleppey is a district of immense natural beauty.

As you walk down the Alleppey's quaint streets, you can discover its unique architecture, truly built in a Keralan styles..Alappuzha Backwaters have a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers crisscrossing it. You can avail the chance of watching some of the rare migratory birds and diverse animals. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala.

DAY 04 : ALLEPPEY - COCHIN

Morning check out from the hotel, and drive to Cochin for your departure transfer.
